I am a disabled mother of two and grandmother of two. I also have a disabled son. I also run a small Ministry to help those in my community with food, clothing, household needs and mental, spiritual and emotional support. I take care of six in my home, two disabled and two under six, and I do it all with an income of only $1300.00 a month. We are blessed to have that much. Many are with-out a roof or support of a family behind them. I feel if we can struggle and make it on this small of an income, then the rich should have no problem helping those in need, or at least quit robbing them of their jobs, homes and dignity. May I add...and their lives! I say this because, my son and I struggle daily with sever medical problems due to medicines given to us, that has left us with life long sever conditions. These medications oked by government and drug company big wigs. We feel like they gave us these life sentences, or should I say, is slowly taking us to death row. Like Thyroid and adrenal cancers and crohn's disease. I myself had a hystorectomy (full) at age 25, my full thyroid removed a year ago, tumors removed from my breast, adrenal failure, and my son at age 19 had to have his bowel removed and battles daily with tumors and pain. Which has left us permanently disabled and stuck. We can't afford the treatments that could help us. My oldest son and his family has had to move in with us because he was laid off, there is no unemployment for him, trying every temp job possible. Trying to keep health insurance for them thru Medicaid is hell! (it only helps the babies, and PRAISE GOD FOR THAT) So here we sit a family of six, trying to survive everyday on very little and still find time and ways to help others like us. We are the 99%!!!!!!!!
