Follow the 99 and PRAY!.

I am a disabled mother of two and grandmother of two. I also have a
disabled son. I also run a small Ministry to help those in my community
with food, clothing, household needs and mental, spiritual and emotional
support. I take care of six in my home, two disabled and two under six,
and I do it all with an income of only $1300.00 a month. We are blessed
to have that much. Many are with-out a roof or support of a family
behind them. I feel if we can struggle and make it on this small of an
income, then the rich should have no problem helping those in need, or
at least quit robbing them of their jobs, homes and dignity. May I
add...and their lives! I say this because, my son and I struggle daily
with sever medical problems due to medicines given to us, that has left
us with life long sever conditions. These medications oked by government
and drug company big wigs. We feel like they gave us these life
sentences, or should I say, is slowly taking us to death row. Like
Thyroid and adrenal cancers and crohn's disease. I myself had a
hystorectomy (full) at age 25, my full thyroid removed a year ago,
tumors removed from my breast, adrenal failure, and my son at age 19 had
to have his bowel removed and battles daily with tumors and pain. Which
has left us permanently disabled and stuck. We can't afford the
treatments that could help us. My oldest son and his family has had to
move in with us because he was laid off, there is no unemployment for
him, trying every temp job possible. Trying to keep health insurance for
them thru Medicaid is hell! (it only helps the babies, and PRAISE GOD
FOR THAT) So here we sit a family of six, trying to survive everyday on
very little and still find time and ways to help others like us. We are
the 99%!!!!!!!!

A Prayer

Lord,
make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred,
let me sow love;
Where there is injury,
pardon;
Where there is doubt,
faith;
Where there is despair,
hope;
Where there is darkness,
light;
Where there is sadness,
joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so
Much seek to be consoled,
as to console;
To be understood,
as to understand;
To be loved,
as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

What is real Kindness?

    It's sometimes hard for us to look at people in need. Some of us don't want to embrace them by paying attention. Our society has taught us to not look. People confined in wheelchairs, those who are deformed, the homeless, the addict and may others, They say they long for a warm smile or friendly nod. And to not be treated as if they had some kind communicable disease. They just want everyone to know they are real people, with real feelings, inside the shell we see. Who all have the deep need to be loved and excepted, as well as to love others. Acts 3

Questions to Ponder...
    Are you one of those who sees someone in need, so you reach in your pocket for spare change and then run the other way or just ignore them all together?
    Do you look straight at him or her and see a real person hidden inside?
    Be honest with yourselves, How do you feel around people who are not like you...in wheelchairs, the deformed person, the homeless, the alcoholic/addict, the mentally handicapped, or even the gay /lesbian, etc?
    Are you willing to really look at that person? Are you afraid? or Do you just don't care at all?
    And what if you fit into one of these categories, how would you want to be treated?
    A lot of the people with these situations find it hard to trust people like us because, of how we act around them. As tho they are beneath us. Which makes their lives fall deeper into darkness, pain, and violence. When all it would take is a moment or act of Kindness...Luke 6
    What is KINDNESS? It's love in the little things.
    Christ and his disciples would never ignore or avoid, they didn't turn away from the crippled or blind, they weren't afraid of the depressed or possessed and they never put down or belittle the prostitute or sexually lost. They instead showed random acts of kindness and unconditional love.
    So, how do we start a new beginning, a new way of thinking. Pray, Share and Care.
                                                                                                    God Bless,
                                                                                                       Tammy

I'm not afraid to take a stand

" It's(life) been a ride, I guess I had to go to that place to get to this one. Now some of you may still be in that place, and trying to get out. Just follow me, I'll get you there."
   I'm not afraid...To take a stand...Everybody...Come take my hand...We'll walk this road together, Through the storm, What ever weather, Cold or warm, Cause then you'll know that, your not alone. Holla, if you feel like you've been down the same road. Song Lyrics by: Eminem

  Life is like a roller coaster, ups and downs, twist and turns and sometimes we get stuck. We end up in some bad situations in our life and blame everyone around us, even God. Like, why would God let this happen or why would God do this? Or maybe even say it's God's fault these bad things are happening to me. But, in reality everything that we do and experience in life is due to the choices we make and choices that the people around us make. It's only when we become aware of that, that we can make changes and discovering the Love of Christ. With-out those bad experiences we couldn't grow, and find he has been with us helping the whole way. We are just to lazy and self absorbed to notice. We expect certain things in life and when those things don't go our way we lose it. When God has had a plan the whole time. He knows due to free will, we will choose the foolish, selfish way but, hes always there to pick us up. I've been through a lot in life mentally, physically and sexually. So I've traveled down that road through many storms, so come take my hand I'll help you through your storms so you know your not alone. Holla, if you feel like you've been down the same road.
